My name is David Donaldson and I want to be your home inspector.
During my 20+ years building & maintaining structures, I have prepared\poured concrete footings & walls, framed walls, installed windows & siding, shingled roofs, installed plumbing/HVAC/electrical components, insulated, drywalled, mudded & taped, painted, installed various types of flooring (including heated flooring applications), installed cabinets & countertops, hung interior & exterior doors, built decks & more.
I received my Carpentry ticket & Red Seal in 2007 from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton and currently support Alberta Apprenticeship & Industry Training in the marking of projects that are used to determine if a carpenter apprentice is ready to become a journeyman.
It just makes sense to have someone with these skills on your side when deciding what house you call home. From footings (if visible) to installation of the lockset used to secure your home, I will provide the most thorough inspection in the Edmonton area. Once you have purchased your home, you'll have a trusted resource should you have any questions/concerns in the future.

My mother was a big fan of Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers. They have many great songs but one of my favourites is one based on the Zen Proverb, Before enlightenment, chop wood and carry water. After enlightenment, chop wood and carry water. The song is simply called,
In its simplest form, it is about making the world a better place by being of service to others. For me, personally, I feel fulfilled knowing that people can rely on me to do the best job possible in whatever task I am doing for them.
You can rely on me to perform a thorough home inspection.
